<div align="justify"><p>what's up, guys? jeff cavaliere, athleanx.com. it's that time of year again, but this videois going to apply at all times of the year. i want to share with you how to lose weight. you guys know that i'm going to set the tonefrom the beginning of this video. i'm not going to bullshit you. i'm going to tell you exactly what you needto hear, and the things that will actually work. these are the six biggest mistakes that peoplemake when it comes time to trying to do this. </p>
<p>first of all, the number one thing you needto do is, you've got to hold yourself accountable. not anybody else. when i talk about that, i'm talking abouta very deep, meaningful level. like, what is going to set this up as a differentscenario this time than it was any other time that you tried to do this? are you trying to set the example for, let'ssay, your own children to be healthy? are you trying to be a fitter person becauseyou know that other people depend upon you, both at work, and at home? what is it that you're going to do? </p>
<p>are you going to – maybe it's even a moretrivial level. your favorite tv show, you will not pull yourselfaway from. great. you want to watch it? you only get to do so if you first work out. even someone like jesse, we actually put himon camera in front of all of you to make his changes, and be held accountable by doingso because if he stopped working out, he knew he needed that. he even asked me if he could do that. </p>
<p>he wanted that level of accountability. hold yourself accountable and i promise you,things will change this year. especially if you go for that deeper, moremeaningful level. next up we know that losing weight is alwaysgoing to have to factor at some point back to how we're eating. i'm going to tell you this. one of the biggest mistakes you're makingis trying to setup an eating plan for yourself that doesn’t mesh with your personality. i'm going to give you an example. </p>
<p>if your issue with eating right now is thatyou're a grazer – meaning you eat at all different times of day, with no real focus,or plan on how, and when you do it – then trying to jump into an intermittent fastinglifestyle is going to set you up for failure, and a big disaster. why? am i saying that intermittent fasting is notgoing to work, or help you lose weight? no. people are losing weight doing intermittentfasting. the problem is, for you, you've just gonecompletely opposite of how you tend to eat. </p>
<p>a grazer eating multiple times a day willfeel ultimately restricted by being put into an eight hour eating window, or a six houreating window. whereas, if your problem is eating in largeportions – not necessarily eating throughout the entire day – the large portion eatercould benefit really well from having a shorter time frame from which they can eat. so that means maybe instead of having fourbig, huge meals throughout the day, they've consolidated that into a shorter eating period,and that tends to work for you. so you have to find the style of eating that'sgoing to help you restrict calories – because ultimately, that's what they all do – inthe most effective way for you, and how you </p>
<p>are right now. mistake number three is one that i've talkedabout here on this channel many times before, but i'm going to say it again because it'sgoing to matter to you. that is: you'd better get your hydration startedearly in the day. 75% of us walk around every, single day ina dehydrated state, and we're never, ever caught up, no matter how much we try throughoutthe day. that is because we're missing the best opportunitywe have for getting ahead. that is to start focusing on it when you wakeup. 20oz-30oz of water, the first thing you do. </p>
<p>it's a great habit to get into now. i say 'habit' because i will tell you this;you can ask your friends, you can look around those that you see in the gym that are ultra-fit,you've never met someone incredibly fit that isn't also regimented. that doesn't have a routine. that doesn't have a series of habits. get into the habit of developing more healthyhabits, and i promise you, you'll be in a better spot next year this time, than youare right now. when it comes to drinking water your energylevels depend upon it. </p>
<p>even a small dip in your hydration levelswill cause you to feel more fatigued, more foggy, but more importantly, probably lesslikely to want to get your ass to the gym later on that day. if you stay hydrated and stay ahead of thegame your energy levels, and your anticipation for actually wanting to go train will be high,and you'll never miss your workouts. i guarantee it. as we roll into mistake number four we haveto understand that any video about losing weight is ultimately going to rely on yourability to look at yourself, whether you're in clothes, or out of clothes, an notice thechanges that you're making. </p>
<p>those changes are what will inspire you tocontinue to try and make more. i'm going to tell you this: you're absolutelynot going to like what you see if your only efforts in the gym are jumping on a treadmill,or trying to jump on the stair climber, and do all of your exercises in that form. the biggest thing you need to do to changeyour body and the way it looks is to change your body composition. you need to build lean muscle, in additionto losing weight. the fact is, you can actually afford to loseless weight if you improve your body composition because you're going to look better. </p>
<p>the more lean muscle you add, the more aestheticallypleasing you're going to be, the more you're going to like yourself in, and out of clothes. the fact is, two people that weigh the samewith one carrying a lot more muscle mass than the other, are going to look extremely differentstanding side by side in their clothes. one's going to potentially look skinny-fat,and the other one is going to look incredibly fit. you want to be the one that looks incrediblyfit, and that means you want to make sure, without negotiating here, that your plan forlosing weight also includes picking up those damn weights, and moving them around a littlebit. </p>
<p>mistake number five is going to ruffle somefeathers here, but do me a favor and hear me out. when it comes to healthy fats you'd betterhave a respect for how much of them you're eating. look, i'm a big believer in including healthyfats in your diet, but you have to understand – as we've pointed out here – any attemptto lose weight is going to demand that you get into a hypocaloric state. meaning, you are taking in fewer caloriesthan you are burning in a given day. the caloric density of fats cannot be understated. </p>
<p>they're twice as dense, calorically, thancarbohydrates, or proteins. people think that they've heard how much carbonsare the enemy – which is not the case either, by the way – and have flocked to eatinghealthier fats. they've confused 'healthy foods' with 'foodsthat make you skinny'. that is a big, big mistake. if your attempt to lose weight in the comingmonths is eating a salad every afternoon that is filled with olive oil, avocados, and nuts;i'm telling you, you're not going to lose a lot of weight. calorically, you've just loaded in about 1500calories into that one, healthy salad. </p>
<p>again, don’t get me wrong. they are incredibly important, but you needto eat your fats in moderation if you're going to be able to maintain a hypocaloric statethat is necessary for losing weight. keep your fats in your diet. do not cut them out. but making smarter choices when it comes tothose is going to be critical for your ability to lose weight once, and for all. last, but not least, one of the biggest mistakesyou could be making here, when you're trying to lose weight, is making this time look alltoo similar to the last time. </p>
<p>you see, as soon as you head to the gym, andyou swipe that card, and maybe you break out the same new shoes you got for christmas lastyear, and the same new gym outfit you got last year, and you miss one workout; whatdoes it look like? it looks like the same thing that happenedlast year. immediately, you know that. you recognize that, and you feel to yourself"it's all happening all over again. i've already lost." so what you need to do is, you need to somehowmake this time look different. i would first advise you to get a plan becauseif you went there last year with no plan – you </p>
<p>didn't know how many days a week you weregoing to train, you didn’t know what you were going to train while you were there,you thought it was all about just doing the cardio – whatever the thing is that youdid wrong, you're going to be better off with a plan. but if you had a plan, then do something elsedifferent. change the time that you go to the gym. change the gym altogether. maybe bring someone else to the gym with youto, again, hold yourselves accountable. maybe, don’t even train at a gym at all. </p>
<p>train at home this time, or maybe even introducesome supplements that you're now having to hold yourself even more accountable towardbecause you feel at least there's something different that you added. it actually cost you some money, so now youhave to make sure that you're holding up your end of the bargain to allow those supplementsto work. whatever it is, you've got to make this timelook different from last time. if you did have a plan, and it didn't work,guys, you know i have plans that will help you. we lay everything out day by day, meal bymeal. </p>

<p>if you cannot do it, try bringing your legs forward without jumping. do not curve your back while your legs are stretched out, try keeping your abs tight. do not bend your arms while jumping. 5,4,3,2,1. stop! next exercise: jump squat. if you can't do it, try doing a simple squat. avoid violent impact with the floor during the descent, in order to do this, always land on your toes. when you are performing the descent, be sure not to exceed your toes with your knees. 5,4,3,2,1. stop! 5,4,3,2,1. next exercise: high plank open and close legs with jump. ready? go! if you cannot do it, try taking one leg at a time to the side without hopping. </p>

<p>and it's just getting worse: after a few minutes of conversation, the personyou've been speaking to leaves, and you feel utterly defeated. this has been happening to youin social situations for a long time. or imagine every time you go out,and you're in crowded places, you feel this panic starting to arise. when you're surrounded by lots of people, like on a bus, you startto feel hot, nauseous, uneasy, </p>
<p>and to prevent this from happening, you start avoiding a lot of placeswhich makes you feel lonely and isolated. you or the personin both of these scenarios have anxiety disorders, and what i can tell youis that anxiety is very common, much more than people think. right now, one in 14 peoplearound the world have an anxiety disorder, and each year, it costsover 42 billion dollars </p>
<p>to treat this mental health problem. to show you the impactthat anxiety has on someone's life, i will just mention that anxiety can lead to depression,school dropout, suicide. it makes it harder to focus,and to hold down a job, and it can leadto relationship breakdown. but a lot of people don't know this, that's why, a lot of times,people sweep anxiety under the rug as just nerves that you needto get over, as a weakness, </p>
<p>but anxiety is so much more than that. a reason why so many peopledon't think it's important is that they don't know what it is. is it your personality? is it an illness?is it a normal sensation? what is? that's why it's importantto differentiate what is normal anxietyfrom what is an anxiety disorder. normal anxiety isan emotion that we all get when we're in stressful situations. for example, let's say,you're out in the woods, </p>
<p>and you come face-to-face with a bear. this will probably make you feela little bit anxious, and you'll probably wantto start running like crazy. this anxious feeling that you get is goodbecause it protects you, it saves you, and it makes youon a hightail it out of there, although maybe it's not such a good ideato start running when you see a bear. i really don't thinkyou can outrun a bear. anxiety helps us meetour deadlines at work and deal with emergencies in life, </p>
<p>but when this anxiety emotionis taken to the extreme and arises in situationswhich don't pose a real threat, then that's when you might havean anxiety disorder. for example, peoplewith generalized anxiety disorder worry excessively and constantlyabout everything going on in their lives, and they find it very difficultto control this worry. they also have symptomslike restlessness, fear, they find it hard to fall asleep at night,and they can't concentrate on tasks. in spite of whatever kind of anxietyyou might be suffering from, </p>
<p>there is somethingthat you can do to lower it. it works, and it's simplerthan you may think. all too often, we're givenmedication for mental disorders, but it doesn't always workin the long run. symptoms often come back,and you're back to where you started. so here's something else to consider: the way you cope or handle thingshas a direct impact on how much anxiety you're experiencing, and if you tweak the way you're coping,then you can lower your anxiety. </p>
<p>in our studyat the university of cambridge, we showed that women living in poor areas have a higher risk for anxietythan women living in richer areas. these results didn't surprise us,but when we looked closer, we found that women living in poor areas, if they had a particular setof coping resources, they didn't have anxiety, while women living in poor areaswithout these coping resources had anxiety. </p>
<p>other studies showed that people who had facedextreme circumstances, who had faced adversity, beenthrough wars and natural disasters, if they had coping resources, they remained healthyand free of mental disorders, while others, facing the same hardshipsbut without coping skills went on a downward spiraland developed mental disorders. so what aresome of these coping resources, and how can we use themto lower our anxiety? </p>
<p>and before i dive into what they are, i'd like to point out -and i think this is so interesting - you can develop these coping resourcesor coping skills on your own through the things that you do; you can take chargeof your anxiety and lower it, which i think is so empowering. today i'll be talking aboutthree coping resources, and the first one is feeling likeyou're in control of your life. people who feel like they'remore in control of their life </p>
<p>have better mental health. if you feel likeyou're lacking in control in life, then research shows that you should engage in experiencesthat give you greater control. i'll show you what i mean: do you sometimes find that you put offstarting something because you just don't feel ready enough? do you find it hard to make decisions like what to wear, what to eatwho to date, which job to take up? </p>
<p>do you tend to waste a lot of time deciding what you might dowhile nothing gets done? a way to overcome indecisionand this lack of control in life, is to do it badly. there's a quote by writerand poet gk chesterton that says, "anything worth doingis worth doing badly the first time." the reason why this works so well is that it speeds up your decision-makingand catapults you straight into action, otherwise, you can spend hours </p>
<p>deciding how you should goabout doing something or what you should do. this can be paralyzing and can makeyou afraid to even begin. all too often, we aim for perfection,but never end up doing anything because the standardsthat we set for ourselves are too high, they're intimidating, which stresses us outso we delay starting something, or we might even abandonthe whole thing altogether. do it badly frees you up to take action. </p>
<p>i mean you know how it is: so often, we want to dosomething perfectly we can't start until it's the perfect time,until we've got all the skills, but this can be daunting and stressful so why not just jump into itjust do it however, without worrying if it's good or bad? this will make it that much easierto start something and as you're doing it badly to finish it, and when you look back, </p>
<p>you'll realize, more often than not,that actually it's not that bad. a close friend of mine who has anxiety started using this motto,and this is what she said, "when i started using this motto,my life transformed. i found i could complete tasksin much shorter time periods than before. do it badly gave me wings to take risks,to try something differently, and to have way more funduring the whole process. it took the anxiety out of everythingand replaced it with excitement." so do it badly, and you can improveas you go along. </p>
<p>i'd like to ask you to think about this: if you start using this motto today,how would your life change? the second coping strategyis to forgive yourself, and this is very powerful if you use it. people with anxiety think a lot about what they're doing wrong, their worries,and how bad they're feeling. imagine if you had a friendwho constantly pointed out everything you're doing wrong, and everythingthat was wrong with your life. </p>
<p>you would probably want to get rid of this personright away, wouldn't you? well, people with anxietydo this to themselves all day long. they're not kind to themselves. so maybe it's time to startbeing kinder with ourselves, time to start supporting ourselves, and a way to do thisis to forgive yourself for any mistakes you think you might have madejust a few moments ago </p>
<p>to mistakes made in the past. if you had a panic attackand are embarrassed about it, forgive yourself; if you wanted to talk to someone, but couldn't muster upthe courage to do so, don't worry about it, let it go; forgive yourselffor anything and everything and this will give yougreater compassion towards yourself. you can't begin to heal until you do this. </p>
<p>and last but not least, having a purpose and meaning in life is a very important coping mechanism. whatever we do in life,whatever work we produce, however much money we make, we cannot be fully happy until we knowthat someone else needs us, that someone else depends onour accomplishments, or on the love that we have to share. it's not that we need </p>
<p>other people's good wordsto keep going in life, but if we don't do somethingwith someone else in mind, then we're at much higher riskfor poor mental health. the famous neurologistdr. victor frankel said, "for people who thinkthere's nothing to live for and nothing more to expect from life, the question is gettingthese people to realize that life is still expectingsomething from them." doing something with someone else in mindcan carry you through the toughest times. </p>
<p>you'll know the why for your existence and will be able to bearalmost any how; almost any how. so the question is do you do at least one thingwith someone else in mind? this could be volunteering, or it could be sharing this knowledgethat you gained today with other people, especially those who need it most, and these are often the peoplewho don't have money for therapy, and they're usually the ones </p>
<p>with the highest ratesof anxiety disorders. give it to them, share with others, because it can really improveyour mental health. so i would like to conclude with this: another way you can do somethingwith someone else in mind is finishing work that might benefitfuture generations. even if these people will never realizewhat you've done for them, it doesn't matter, because you will know,and this will make you realize </p>

<p>nutrients that your body needs. also, when losing weight so drastically, yourbody goes into survival mode and fights to keep every single fat molecule it can, makingit harder to burn fat. on top of this, a study found that in thepopular television competition show, "the biggest loser," where contestants competeto lose the most weight in a small amount of time, many of the contestants ended upregaining all the weight they lost with some even gaining more. it was shown that this was due to their basalmetabolic rate completely crashing. your best bet is to shoot for roughly 1 to2 pounds a week, or about 10% of your starting </p>
<p>weight in 6 months. number 5: changing too many things at once. wanting to lose weight is usually followedby a sudden spark of motivation to change your habits. and a lot of times, people want to changemultiple habits... all at once. and when they try to do it, they end up failing... all at once. losing weight itself is a multiple habit changingprocess. eating less is a habit. exercising more is a habit. </p>

<div align="justify"><p>hey, everyone welcome back to cookingarounds channel. ok, you asked for it you are going to get it now. you want something fast, you want to lose the weight. well here is my new plan. 7 day soup diet recipe. just absolutely awesome. and i gurantee you that if you do this correctly </p>
<p>with-in 7 days you will lose 10 to 17 pounds. but no cheating, so here we go. so let's start with these fresh veggies we have all these goodies here i am really excited, we have fresh tomatoes, we have red bell peppers. and we have some pepper and and some other spices here </p>
<p>and we have low-sodium veggie stock. this will be awesome with these beans this will be absolutely awesome. so please look at my blog below and you will find the directions to follow this recipe. diet, correctly with-in the 7 days. let's get going. ok, grap yourself a large pot, </p>
<p>add 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil. you will see how easy this recipe is to make. now that the oil is hot, let's add 2 cups of diced carrots. now let's stir this and let this go for about a couple of minutes. now add 2 medium red bell peppers. awww this is going to be awesome. let's also stir this for a couple of minutes. 5 stems of green onions. now here is the good part, add 1 bunch of celery tops </p>
<p>and leave some of the leaves in it because it is good for you to. it also gives it a bit of colour. also more nutrition to your soup. stir this for a couple of minutes and i shall be back. now for that rich taste add 1/3 cup of tomato paste now stir it really, really well because i want that tomato paste to incorporate with those veggies. </p>
<p>ok. here we go. now add 3 cups of sliced tomatos, i am using vine tomatoes. they are awesome and fresh. now add about 2 cups of green beans. get this thing mixed really, really well again we are almost coming to the end now. ok, we are finished with our veggies </p>
<p>add 3 cups of tomato paste. check this link here and see how to make it homemade. how much water do you add, by my pot, right up to there now add some water until i reach about 1-inch from the top of my pot. this also depends on how thick do you want your soup. do you want it thicker or thinner. </p>
<p>you will have to make a decsion on this part right here. how you want it. and no, we are going to give it a little stir. increase the heat. so as it is heating up let's 2 tablespoons of mustard. here i am using dijon mustard. you can use your favorite mustard. </p>
<p>whatever you like and we shall be back now to spice it up 1 teaspoon of chilli. 1 teaspoon of ground cumin. for some color and looks. 2 teaspoons of sweet paprika now the fat burner 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. or more if you are on the brave side. </p>
<p>now here comes the fresh ground pepper here i am adding about 1/2 teaspoon of pepper but you can add as much as you want, go ahead and make your day. to make it rich tasting, add 2 tablespoons of dried veggie stock now this has to be low-sodium. very, very important. now, give it a good stir. </p>
<p>with the heat still on high. let's now. cover it. now we will wait for it to reach a boil and once again, i promise you, i shall be back. ok, i am back. it has been a few minutes and it has started to boil again give it a little stir. now once again i want you to </p>
<p>cover it and grab your handy dandy chicken, or any timer and set it to 30 minutes. now if you are sensitive to the fibers in the veggies, i recommend that you set it to 40 minutes. so, lets get this thing cooking, and i shall be back, and the chicken has an eye on you. </p>
<p>ok, we are back, it has been about 30 minute. let's take a look at the soup and see how it is, awww, look at that. is that not awesome. nice and thick and rich just nice fresh veggies, just take a look at that. just see how that looks, don't you want to just dig into that. </p>
<p>and this is going to help you lose all the weight. trust me, this will just shed all the pounds off, now let's taste it and see how it tastes. remember that this is for you not for me. for me it is absolutely perfect. but now as per salt, this is for you to lose weight, so, no, no, no no salt. </p>
